In DigiFarm's infancy, the company's focus was to offer a cellular single base RTK correction service to clients. Single Base RTK provides a reliable RTK solution that eliminates the need to maintain line of sight between the tractor and base station. With Single Base RTK, corrections come directly from a base station rather than from DigiFarm's network of base stations. 

 

Because signals travel longer distances to a base station, Single Base RTK can be less reliable and less accurate than DigiFarm VBN. However, we understand that it is still useful in some situations, so Single Base RTK is still available in certain ares upon request. 

 

Note: Single Base RTK cannot be used for laying drainage tile or dirtwork when 2 or more miles away from the base station.
